Hello everyone! It's Tinne, and I'm so happy I can share my first card made with the Home sweet home stamp set from the new release! It's such a fun and cute set, and I love the vintage phone!
I cut out a base from white cardstock with a scalloped rectangle die. I used a brick wall stencil, and Weathered Wood Distress Oxide ink to create the brick wall background then I glued the background on a white base card.
Next, I stamped all the images with Extreme Black hybrid ink from My Favorite Things.
To create the girl in the couch, I did some masking then I cut out the images with my Silhouette Cameo, and colored them with Copic Markers.
I colored everything except the dress, the head band and the lampshade. I used the paper piecing technique for them. I stamped my images on pattern paper, cut out the dress, head band and lampshade, colored the sides with a black marker, and glued them into place.
I added some shades on top with a light grey Copic marker.
I added some highlights with a white gell roll marker, and glued all the images into place on the card.
For some of the images I used foam tape to add some dimension to the card.
For the sentiment, I cut out the word 'hello' with a small word die from my stash. You can also use the 'hello' stamp from the set! I glued it into place at the bottom of my card.
I hope you like the result!
