Hello and Happy Wednesday Darlings!
What better way to celebrate making it to the middle of the week by showing a card using the wonderful 'Happy Day' stamp set. To find out how I made this simple card please read on:
1. Taking patterned paper, I used a rectangle die to cut the base background layer, and letter dies to cut out the word 'Hello'.
2. Taking white cardstock, I used a smaller rectangle die to cut out the second layer and used narrow letter dies to cut out the word 'Hello' again.
3. On the white cardstock, I used the 'Happy Day' stamp set to stamp 3 cute sheep and some butterflies and coloured the images in using alcohol markers.
4. On the narrow letters, I took Cosmic Shimmer's Fluffy Stuff in 'Strawberry Whip', applied it to the letters and used a heat tool to transform the flat liquid into a magical cloud texture. Once dry, I glued the narrow layer onto the patterned letter die cut layer and adhered the letters over my cute sheep images.
5. To finish the cards off, I added some pink sequins to tie the whole design in together.
