Happy Thursday Darlings!
I hope this blog post finds you well :) Today I am here with a card made using the super cute stamp set 'Our Memories'. Don't these cute foxy critters look like they are having such a lovely time by the campfire underneath the stars? To find out how I made this card, read on.
1. The background - Taking a rectangle base layer, I used masking tape to section off where I wanted the sky to start. Using various shades of blue Distress Oxide Inks, I blended lightest shade in the middle, using darker shades towards the edges. I then removed the masking tape and used the same tape to mask off the grass area. I ink blended a light orange shaded where I knew I wanted the fire to be, then used a light and darker shade of green to complete this area. I stamp a sentiment and stars from the 'Our Memories' stamp set and heat embossed in a gorgeous yellow powder. To finish off the background, I added some gold splatters to the sky.
2. The Images - I stamped various images from the 'Our Memories' stamp set and used alcohol markers to colour them in. I tried to stick with warm colours to give this card a cosy feel :) To add some extra shine to the card, I added some Stickles Glitter to the Fire and Moon.
3. To Finish - Using both glue and foam tape, I placed the images on the card to create a fun 3 dimensional scene. I took my white and clear glitter Gelly Roll pen to add in some final highlight details.
