Hello everyone! It's Tinne again, and I'm here to show you the slimline card I made with the
'You are purrfect' stamp set. I hadn't used the garbage bin from the set yet, so I really wanted to use it. And this is the result.
First I started with the brick wall. I used one of my dies from my stash to cut everything out. I cut the wall out of white and sand colored cardstock. I kept the white for the grouts, and the sand colored bricks. I glued everyting on a piece of cardstock, and cut of the piece of brick wall I wanted to use.
I also cut a grass border out of light green cardstock, using a die from my stash. I slightly inked it with green Distress Oxide ink, and I also splattered it with green and light brown Distress Oxide ink.
For the sky, I used a piece of white cardstock and inked it with light blue Distress Oxide ink. I inked the bottom heavy and went softer to the middle. I didn't ink the top. I splattered the sky with light blue ink, and cut some cloud silhouettes out of white cardstock, using cloud dies from my stash.
I stamped the kittens, the bin and the flies with Extreme Black hybrid ink from MFT, cut them out with my Silhouette Cameo, and colored them with Copic markers. I also stamped the sentiment on a white cardstock strip.
I wanted to add a big MEOW in the sky, so I cut the letters out of black cardstock, using alphabet dies from my stash.
Now its time to glue everything into place on a white slimline basecard. I used foam tape behind the wall and the grass to add some dimension. I used liquid adhesive for the other parts.
